Using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy CBT and Clinical Hypnosis to enable clients to make permanent changes and achieve their goals, Simon Simpson runs a busy and successful practice in Surrey.

Simon worked for a number of years in the Architectural Design industry before changing to pursue a career based on his life-long interest in psychology, hypnosis, and the power of the subconscious mind.

After contacting the British Psychological Society to establish which organisations offer reputable psychotherapy and hypnotherapy training Simon Simpson began his training with the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy at the Brook Hospital in London in the early 1990s.

Following three years of study he was awarded a postgraduate diploma with distinction in Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy. Simon then went on to complete an Advanced Diploma in CBT Counselling. More recently, Simon completed a Masters degree in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) at Goldsmiths, University of London. He is currently engaged in additional training in CBT/REBT for accreditation with the BABCP.

Simon is a member of several professional bodies, including the UKCP (the principal body that regulates the psychotherapy profession), the National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists (NRHP), and the National Council for Psychotherapists (NCP), and as such is bound by their codes of conduct. As with all members of the UKCP, NRHP and NCP he is committed to ongoing peer supervision and to the continued development of his skills and knowledge through Continual Professional Development programmes.
